Once upon a time one of most beautiful waterfalls in Latvia - Perse waterfall in Koknese. Every year it retreated up to 1 m, at the end of 1960ies it was lower and gradually collapsing. The remnants of the waterfall were flooded by the lake of Plavinas hydropower plant in 1965.
